Abstract

In an attempt to present the tragic events of the Ukrainian-Polish confrontation during the Second World War through the memories of eyewitnesses. The testimony of Ukrainians and Poles shows a common and different vision of the teasing pages of the common past. It is concluded that it is the memoirs that make events more than 75 years distant to our contemporaries.
