The sixth congress of the National Union of Local History of Ukraine
Abstract
On January 23, at the premises of the Institute of History of Ukraine of the National Academy of Sciences of Ukraine, the VI Congress of the National Union of Local Linguists of Ukraine was held, which summarizes the work of the Union for 5 years. At the congress with the report was made by the chairman of the board Alexander Rient, the speeches of the chairmen of the mandate and the audit committee were heard. Delegates from all regions of Ukraine discussed the report, adopted the amendments to the NSCU Charter, elected the new Board and head of the Union, which became Oleksandr Petrovich Reent for the next 5 years.
Three delegates took part in the work of the Speaker of the Volyn Regional Organization of NSCU: the director of the Volyn Museum of Local History Anatoliy Siluk, dean of the Faculty of History SNU of Lesia Ukrainka Anatoliy Schwab and chairman of the regional organization Gennadiy Bondarenko, who spoke at the congress when discussing the report and told about the activities of UNSMS.

Members of the UNCOMCU Director of the Torchinsky Historical Museum Oleksandr Melnyk, head of the Volyn Museum of Ethnography of the Ukrainian SSI Svitlana Chibrak, chairman of the Kamien- Kashirsky branch of the NSCU Valeriy Khitrik, for their significant personal contribution to the development of the regional lore movement, were awarded with certificates of NSCU. The well-known researcher of Lutsk and Volhynia, Volodymyr Piasetsky, received the award of the Union -the title "Honorary ethnographer of Ukraine". Gennady Bondarenko received thanks from the Ministry of Education and Science of Ukraine.
In general, at the congress, there were planned and approved ways of development of regional studies and local lore education for the next 5 years.
