"Chronicle of Volyn" is a scientific journal founded in 1953 in Winnipeg (Manitoba, Canada) by the Volyn Society and the Volyn Research Institute. Its purpose was to “collect and preserve from destruction those materials about Volyn that are still preserved in our country, and which are being destroyed in our lands, to scientifically and objectively cover issues concerning Volyn, to unite compatriots, to help them morally and materially. ». The publication has published articles on history, philology and natural sciences.

In 2001, the right to print was transferred to Volyn University (Lutsk). Since then it has been published in Ukrainian twice a year; circulation of 100 copies. Distributed in Ukraine, USA and Canada. The main topics are history, culture, nature, historical figures and settlements of Volyn and Volyn Polissya.
