To the attention of the authors of the All-Ukrainian scientific journal "Chronicle of Volyn"!

The editorial staff of the journal "Chronicle of Volyn" invites all interested persons to publish their researches.

The journal is included in the List of Scientific Professional Publications of Ukraine in accordance with Order No. 928 of the Ministry of Education and Science of Ukraine dated June 11, 2026 (Appendix 15). The journal has been assigned Category “B” for three years, from June 1, 2026, to May 31, 2029.

Founder: Lesya Ukrainka Volyn National University.

The journal is indexed in the international scientometric database Index Copernicus (Poland).

The editors assign a DOI (digital object identifier) ​​for articles.

The articles are checked for plagiarism using the software StrikePlagiarism.com developed by the Polish company Plagiat.pl.

The statistics will be accepted until published in Ukrainian or English language.

Procedure for submission of materials:

To publish an article in the all-Ukrainian scientific journal "Chronicle of Volyn" № 35 for 2026, it is necessary to fill in an online application until October 9, 2026 (inclusive) and send an article to info@litopys.volyn.ua

No more than one article by the same author (co-author) may be published in the issue.

The editorial board conducts an internal anonymous review of all articles. The review process can take up to 3–4 weeks.

The editorial staff reserves the right to reject articles of authors who do not comply with the requirements.

The editorial board may not share the ideological and scientific beliefs of the authors. The authors are responsible for the accuracy of quotations, surnames, references and facts contained in the text of provided articles.

Prohibition to refer to the aggressor state’s scholarly papers
It is prohibited citing and including in the reference list russian-language contributions published in any country, incl. papers written in other languages but published in russia and belarus.

In the article from the specialty B9 History and Archeology it is not recommended to cite in the text and include in the bibliographic lists those sources that were published after 1991 in the Russian language in any country, as well as sources in other languages, if they were published on the territory of Russia and Belarus . Citation of such sources, published after 1991, is allowed if the author of the article from the specialty B9 History and Archeology has the goal of refuting from a scientific point of view the myths and stereotypes of our enemy's propaganda.

Academic integrity
The Editorial Board guarantees high-quality anonymous peer-review of articles and their check for plagiarism using StrikePlagiarism.com by the Polish company Plagiat.pl.

The journal does not charge a submission fee. The publication fee is charged only after an article has been accepted for publication and has no influence on the peer-review process or editorial decisions.

Submitted manuscripts are subject to editing, peer review, and plagiarism check.

If the article successfully passes peer review and is accepted for publication, the author will be provided with bank details for payment of the publication fee.

After making the payment, the author must send a scanned copy of the receipt to the editorial office.

The publication fee is 1600 UAH (up to 12 pages inclusive). Each additional page is charged at 50 UAH. The publication fee covers the costs associated with the processing, peer review, and publication of the article.

The editorial board accepts individual articles submitted by postgraduate students enrolled in state-funded programs for publication free of charge, provided that the manuscripts are authored solely by the students (without co-authors), comply with the journal’s requirements, and adhere to the principles of academic integrity.

Along with the manuscript, postgraduate students enrolled in state-funded programs must submit a certificate issued the graduate studies department confirming their enrollment. The certificate must be signed by the head of the relevant department and bear the its official seal.

Authors may also order a printed copy of the journal. The cost of a printed copy is UAH 1,000 and is payable in addition to the publication fee.

The journal’s electronic version becomes publicly available on the website duly.

Journal electronic version will be available on the website on December 11, 2026.

If desired, an author can order a printed copy of the journal. The cost of a printed copy is UAH 800, which is paid in addition to the publication fee.

Authors who ordered a printed copy will receive it before January 11, 2027.
