DEVELOPMENT OF INTERNATIONAL COOPERATION BETWEEN UKRAINE AND POLAND IN MODERN CONDITIONS

Abstract

The article theoretically summarizes and proposes the solution of a scientific problem, which consists in a comprehensive study of theoretical and practical achievements in the formation and development of international cooperation between Ukraine and Poland. The main scientific and practical results of the study are the analysis of modern theories, concepts and approaches to understanding the process of formation of Ukrainian-Polish international relations and their role in European integration processes, which showed that they show, on the one hand, multidimensionality, versatility, complexity, the complexity and dynamic evolution of the theoretical and methodological basis of the study, and on the other – the presence of fundamental theoretical and applied principles of international cooperation. It is proved that in determining and achieving the final results of the chosen topic play a key role – a systematic method aimed at obtaining objective and reliable results, a diagnostic method as a tool for assessing the effectiveness of cooperation in international policy, a historical method that contributed to the analysis of development international cooperation of these countries at different historical stages, a comparative method that allowed to explore the peculiarities of Poland’s foreign policy and to reveal its possibilities of use in Ukraine. As in modern political science there was no single definition of understanding the phenomenon of international relations, so the paper paid much attention to the characteristics of the main categories that determine the content and essence of Ukrainian-Polish cooperation in international relations. Considerable attention in the article is paid to the historical aspects of the formation of Ukrainian-Polish international cooperation directly in the context of their compliance with the declared goals. It is substantiated that the cooperation between Ukraine and Poland began to take shape, taking into account the long historical tradition, geographical, historical, cultural and demographic factors that have brought these states and peoples closer for centuries. Priority areas for deepening cooperation between Ukraine and Poland in resolving issues of international relations in the short term and in the long run have been identified.
